Description
From my private collection, a RARE original UK 1st pressing of The Electric Light Orchestra's 1974 7" single(UP 36313), "Turn to Stone", with "Mr Kingdom" on the B side in the RARE original Limited Edition Picture Sleeve. The Sleeve is signed by the ELO Bass Player, Kelly Groucutt, who was the Uncle of a lad I used to play football with in the late 70's, one day he turns up and played football with us, he signed the cover of my friends copy while he was there, and my friend very kindly gave it to me, knowing I was a fan, hence, I have 2 covers, one signed, and one unsigned, (the original cover that came with the single). The single itself was bought from HMV Wolverhampton when I was building my collection in the 1970's.
The visual for vinyl is Excellent ( having only minor surface blemishes that do not affect sound quality). Picture Sleeve is Excellent also, with only a couple of tiny blemishes, marginal ring wear, slight curling at sleeve opening on one copy, and a tiny front cover scuff and edge rubbing on the other copy. I have 2 copies priced to sell, they are currently on Ebay for much more!
All records are play tested for sound quality on my quality separates system (Nad amp, Dual deck, Wharfedale speakers) this one plays beautifully, both sides!
Haven't played vinyl stuff in a while, so, time to sell.
