Welcome to my
"EJ On eBay" Auction!
During the next several weeks and months, I will be selling many rare Elton John collectibles that I've accumulated over the past 30 years. Many of them are rare, and very hard to find. I just figured it was time to let another EJ fan enjoy these items the way that I have. Most of the auctions will have Reserve Prices, in line with their actual value.

Well, here it is ... the Holy Grail of Elton John LP's! The mega rare BROWN Vinyl Edition of the classic LP "Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy", autographed by both Elton and Bernie Taupin! Only 2000 of these were ever produced, and were distributed to friends and record executives. I've owned this copy since I bought it on eBay about 5 years ago, and it's been in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment ever since. In fact, I haven't even played it.
Vinyl Condition: The brown vinyl record is in Excellent condition, with glossy vinyl and intact labels! I use this grading to mean a record that's better than your typical VG+, but is shy of Near Mint.
Cover Condition: The record cover is in VG+ condition, with general wear, including a cut corner (that's how it was when I bought it). EJ and Bernie's blue-ink signatures are contained inside the gatefold, on each of their photos. All of the original inserts -- the poster, the "Scraps" and the "Lyrics" booklets -- are all in Near Mint condition!

Auction Rules
- All records are shipped in heavy-duty cardboard containers especially designed for record shipment.
- Whenever possible, I can combine multiple auctions won to save on shipping.
- Insurance is optional but highly recommended. I will not be responsible for damaged or lost items that are not insured.
- If your shipping address is within the US, I will accept PayPal (preferred), BidPay, money orders and personal checks (which must wait 10 days to clear before I ship out your order). No cash!
- If your shipping address is outside the US, you must pay me via PayPal or BidPay. No exceptions! If you win and then decline to pay via PayPal or BidPay, the transaction will be cancelled, and the item will be relisted, or sold to the next highest bidder.
- Note to international bidders: When bidding, please take into account any customs fees or taxes that your country requires you to pay. Please do not ask me to underestimate an item's value on the customs form or to declare it as a gift, since I am obliged to complete all customs forms honestly and accurately.
- Due to recent problems with International shipments, I will require tracking on any shipment going to an Unconfirmed Address in PayPal, at the buyer's expense. Bid on this item only if you agree to this condition!
- If you are the winning bidder, I will send you an invoice via eBay. You must contact me within 3 days to verify your payment and shipping information.
- Payment must be received within 10 days of auction close. If I do not receive payment from you within 10 days, I reserve the right to relist the item and leave negative feedback.
- I reserve the right to cancel bids from buyers who either receive or give excessive negative feedback. Feedback will be provided when the transaction has successfully completed.
