Check out all Seven photos to see this Unplayed 1974 MCA 1st issue of ELTON JOHN's Caribou LP (MCA Records #MCA-2116 with etchings in the runout/deadwax zones: "MCA 500-W-10" / "MCA 500-W8") featuring three of my favorite EJ songs: "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me", "Ticking", and "Pinky", as well as "The Bitch Is Back", "Dixie Lily", "Solar Prestige A Gammon", and others... >> NEVER BEEN PLAYED (See below for detailed LP description).
I bought this one last Spring & REMOVED ITS FACTORY WRAP to inspect (and to take a few photos) because I originally had plans to keep it as part of my listening library but I haven't owned a turntable in a few years & it will probably be a while before I buy a new one, IF I buy one at all. My loss is your gain. No one else has access to my collection so I am 1000% certain that it has only been handled (very briefly) by me.
I've been surfing eBay for two years and have built up a collection of over 400 cherry-picked vintage LPs (99.9% factory sealed) and I've decided to sell them.
>> Shimmering lighter-weight vinyl is in factory-fresh condition (just as you would expect) with one small ghost of a mark on Side Two involving the deadwax zone and a part of "Ticking". This is the VERY lightest of superficial marks that won't translate into audio. I've seen this before when the inner sleeve is almost as heavy & thick as the outer cover >> it was probably a manufacturing effect whereas the vinyl picks up a light feathery mark or two when it's initially inserted into (or initially removed from) the sleeve.
>> Very Nice Medium-gloss cover with corner bumps to all four corners & a small bit of associated wear-spots to the corners (from 36 years of tight shrinkwrap PLUS I remember the shrink was a bit worn at the two lower corners); Two crease-wrinkles (one small one approaching the spine on the front side & one larger one running diagonally to the upper right corner); NO discoloration, NO water damage, NO cutouts nor punch holes; NO promo stamps; NO seam splits; Very slight hint of vinyl ring impression on the front cover but NO wear; spine print is nearly perfectly centered; NO Record Club; NO Barcode, of course.

IMPORTANT: Buyer pays for shipping >> I ship in good boxes and can ship up to 4 single LPs in one box. To save you shipping $$$, it's Media Mail: $4 for 1 single LP plus 50 cents for each additional single LP up to 4 total LPs in each box. Second box would likewise ($4 for 1LP + 50 cents for each LP up to box capacity, etc...). Double LP would count as 2 single LPs. I can also ship outside the continental U.S. but that usually gets a little expensive so please keep that in mind.
