POSTAGE INSTRUCTIONS
I prefer not to send Vinyl via surface mail using the South African Postal Service as it can take up to 6 months to arrive at it's destination. I prefer to use Courier or Airmail services - the choice lies with the buyer though.
1. DHL - This is the safer & faster option although it is more expensive than the normal postal services option via SAPO or Global Mail. It is my default postage option.
2. SAPO - This is the South African Post Office via Registered Airmail.Sometimes they deliver within 2 weeks of me sending it off although I have had instances where it has taken up to 4 months! One can also not be certain whether the parcel will not be opened or damaged along the way. It is the cheaper option at around ZAR 160-00 (USD 13-00). They do provide a tracking number.
3. GLOBAL MAIL – They guarantee a delivery time of between 10 and 15 days after leaving South Africa. The only drawback here is that there is no tracking number provided. I know of quite a few sellers who use Global Mail and they have had no problems at all. It is also economical at ZAR 160-00 (USD 13-00).
IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY TO PAY THE DEFAULT POSTAGE FEE ON THIS POST PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO THAT I CAN ISSUE YOU WITH AN INVOICE WITH THE AMENDED POSTAGE FEE
