Description
We are a shop/record label located in West Wickham, Kent, dealing in most styles from the 50's, 60s, 70s and early 80s. All the records / cds listed on ebay are fully guaranteed as to the conditions described. We use professional packing with reinforcements added , and the discs are separated from the sleeves to avoid seam splitting, in the case of E.P.'s and L.P.'s.

A handful of these would have been made, of which Elton, his Mum and Bernie Taupin would have kept a copy, but what happened to the rest? Well this one comes from the BBC's 'Top Of The Pops' rest room, where artists and labels left their latest releases in the hope of gaining some kind of exposure. It really is an historical artifact and I don't know of any others that have surfaced onto the open market. Not only is it his first commercial solo recording, it's also in fabulous condition.
I can't over emphasise how rare and important this disc is in the history of popular music.In some ways, it should be in a museum. Ebay is full of rare this and rare that, and "you'd better buy this as you'll never see one again" blah blah blah. However, you won't see one of these again. It's a genuine rarity of the highest order. I've put the full recording on so you can hear the quality.
