Description

From 1974, written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, and "featuring the reggae guitar of Dr. Winston O'Boogie (John Lennon)", this item is Elton John's thirteenth BILLBOARD hit, which reached the #1 position (remaining there for 2 weeks!) in December of that year -- "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds / One Day At A Time", MCA 40344, in a Picture Sleeve. Old store stock copy. The record itself is in a beautiful NEAR MINT~UNPLAYED condition with its original shiny/glossy, mirror-like playing surface. On the B-side only, there are extremely, light superficial marks that would not affect the play. The labels are in NEAR MINT condition with only some extremely light traces of wear. The Picture Sleeve is also in a beautiful (and hard-to-find in this condition!) NEAR MINT condition with only the very slightest trace of any wear, if at all. The Picture Sleeve is nice and flat with absolutely no tears, writing, stickers, stamps, staple holes or seam splits. See my "About Me" page for my grading scale. ALL my 45 RPM's and Picture Sleeves are housed in their own individual 7" protective plastic sleeves. In the case of a 45 RPM having a Picture Sleeve the 45 RPM is housed in a 7" white paper sleeve. My 45 RPM's have been kept separate from their Picture Sleeves since I purchased them. Also, in most cases where there is not a Picture Sleeve, my 45 RPM's are housed in their original company paper sleeve.     ALL records are shipped in heavy-duty cardboard boxes specially designed for 45 RPM's to insure safe delivery. My shipping days are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. International shipments are made on Thursdays only. ALL insurance on USPS shipments (No International insurance available) must be requested by the BUYER. Seller is not responsible for uninsured shipments.
