This record is in excellent- condition. It has only a couple of faint spindle marks visible on each label and there are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the labels are clean, bright and in very nice shape.
As for the vinyl(pressed on a deep red translucent vinyl) itself, both sides have very little visible in normal light and have a lovely lustre. There is the odd faint wispy line showing and a minor amount of light handling marks but certainly nothing obvious or nasty. Overall it is in good clean condition with some light signs of age but nothing major.
I play tested the record and it played well overall but has a couple of issues to mention. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. The sound produced is free from sticks or skips and has no loud tics. The general clarity of the audio is also excellent with no real surface noise audible. There was however a series of around 10-12 very light tics audible in the mellow part of the last track on side 1. These were not loud and hugely noticeable but do sound softly for a period. Other than these there was also a similar light period of tics (6-8) in the early stages of track 2 on side 2. These were again light but again sound quietly.
So overall a very nice listen for the vast majority and a record that appears nice and tidy. But one that is graded below excellent and EX- due to the two brief periods of light tics as outlined above.
Its contains its original plain white poly-lined inner which is in very good+ condition with no splits or pen marks but with some age related discolouring and a small tear to the central window of one side.The record will be sent in a brand new plain white replacement to ensure it remains clean and ready to play.
