ORIGINAL UK, ONE SIDED, 45 RPM TRIDENT STUDIOS ACETATE FROM 1969 / 1970 IN GOOD CONDITION.

A POSSIBLY UNIQUE ARTEFACT FROM THE MOST COLLECTABLE PERIOD OF THE ARTIST’S CAREER, ON THE CUSP OF SUPERSTARDOM. THE SONG TITLE AND ARTIST NAME ARE HANDWRITTEN. THIS WAS ELTON’S FINAL NON-CHARTING UK / DJM SINGLE BEFORE THE INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS OF YOUR SONG.

Unbelievably rare, this is a completely unique opportunity for fans. Elton John acetates so rarely appear for sale anywhere and remain firmly in the hands of avid collectors or the artists themselves.

CONDITION

This record is in GOOD condition. There are several superficial marks / stains / scuffs on the playing surface and a hairline scratch running vertically across half of the playing area.

I have played the single once. There are no skips or jumps, however there are pops and surface noise. This acetate recording has obviously been well considered and reviewed.

The top lacquer is completely intact with no bubbling. There is no content on the reverse side which has a mirror finish.

The disc is supplied ready for cleaning or restoration if required. It has not been cleaned by me and I would suggest that the winning bidder only has this performed professionally due to its rarity.
