NOTES: A very rare breed are these original White & Green label BBC Transcription Disc LP's. I have never seen anyone agree on the exact number of copies pressed although most collectors seem to think that most were made in less than 100 copies of each title!!!

BBC Transcription services records are very rare - basically they were issued to UK and British commonwealth countries radio stations - for them to use as a pre-recorded programme for a limited time - radio stations paid an annual subscription to receive the items - they could use them as required, inserting their own jingles or programme items. After useage/expiry most were destroyed so they are increasingly hard to find these days. BBC Transcription Services CN 5404/S. Stereo. Genuine radio broadcast lp, not originally available in record stores or to the public. Made in England 1989.  Original copy with Green/White labels in generic BBC die-cut yellow sleeve.

Packing Procedures: All records are securely and well packed in top quality material to avoid any unnecessary damage during transit.When posted the records are removed from the covers,if possible,and placed in a PVC outer protective sleeve to prevent any sleeve splits in the post. I use brand new top quality mailers, either the envelope style with super thick stiffeners to stop any sleeve bends in transit, or the “cruciform” style that wrap around the 12"/lp. I aim to dispatch within 48 hours of receiving payment . It is recommended that you choose the option for recorded delivery (within UK) or registered delivery (for Europe and Rest of the World) for higher value items . I cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged that are not shipped by recorded / registered mail . I obtain a certificate proof of posting for every item sent .
