Tumbleweed Connection is the third album by British singer/songwriter Elton John, released in 1970. With the exception of "Love Song," written and composed by Lesley Duncan, the albums lyrics were written by Bernie Taupin, while the music was composed by John. The album went gold in America without the release of a single. In 2003, the album was ranked number 455 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time!!!!

Another from my personal collection!This album has been stored in a case for at least 25 years with the vinyl seperated from the sleeve and cover! This is how i have always stored my records!!This has protected the cover for all of these years amaizing condition for 39 years! Very collectable and sought after in this condition!!!!!

The vinyl

This is the thicker type of vinyl only found on the earliest press! On initial inspection I can barely see a blemish, It is quite obvious to me that this has barely been played there are very very few spider marks which indicates this also!! Any marks that could possibly be seen under a strong light could only be very light whyspy sleeve removal marks\scuffs only! 

The Audio quality

I have played this vinyl through track for track prior to listing, on a top system at very loud volume on a top system!! This audio is truly stunning absolutely awesome stereo seperation on this vinyl throughout! Absolutely (no) distortion or any signs that this has been overplayed , in fact in my opinion this has only been played a handful of times ever, in fact this has been stored in a case laying dormant for at least 25 years!! There is (no) loud clicks or pops and (no) background surface noise at all! Even in between tracks this is silent! Any odd static tick is very very minimal indeed, near perfect throughout!! This audio was very near perfect on my systems absolutely cristal clear and very very vibrant throughout, A real rich and deep bassy feel only found on 1st pressings like this! very near as good as it gets in my opinion!!!!  

Please note! I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for the odd light static tick (not consistent throughout the audio) Please remember that this is a genuine 39 year old vinyl. that would have originally been played on a 39 year old system!!

Important note! This album has been stored in a case laying dormant for at least 25 years!,, a build up of dirt and dust in the grooves from laying dormant  causes static crackle\ticks!, A constant clean before each play is recomended! This will reduce any static and will enhance the audio quality!    

The record sleeve 

This is the original plain white paper sleeve as new! (no) splits or tares (no) marks!!!!!

The cover

This is the original 1st issue TEXTURED gatefold (Printed by Gothic Print Finishers) cover looks absolutely awesome! (no) splits or tares (no) real storageware to talk of! Amaizingly (no) creases! (no) rubbing so rare for 39 years old like this believe me!!!The original booklet is fully intact and firmly attacted to the cover!  As New!! . THIS COVER IS STRONGAND STRAIGHT AND IN TOP CONDITION NEAR PRISTINE\MINT FOR 39 YEARS OLD UNBELEIVABLE!!!!!
