Elton John Madman Across the Water 180 GRAM Vinyl LP Features Levon & Tiny Dancer!
Madman Across the Water is driven by the sweeping string arrangements that gives the songs here a richly dark and haunting edge. The overall quality of the record is very high, particularly on character sketches "Levon" and "Razor Face," as well as the melodramatic "Tiny Dancer" and the paranoid title track. Now on 180 gram heavyweight vinyl. This title is one in a series of vinyl releases to mark Elton John’s 50th anniversary in the music industry. Island did a really spectacular job of remastering this record. I have a original UK original DJM pressing and this new German DJM pressing sounds very much like it. The original UK DJM's are considered by many collectors to be the best sounding Elton John Pressings on Vinyl. If you care about owning great sounding recordings as well as one of Elton John's finest this Is a must have LP.
