Elvis Presley LP. USA. Movie Soundtrack to DOUBLE TROUBLE. 12 songs on album originally issued in June 1967while Elvis was struggling to remain relevant after years of mediocre movie tunes! Note: this record was released the same week as Sgt Peppers!! Compare the covers! Ouch! 8 of the songs were from the movie Double Trouble! It was from 1967 and this is the original version from that year, black labels with Nipper logo, not the updated Orange RCA Labels from 1970!! RCA loved reissuing and updating Elvis’ US catalog often after that!! The vinyl is graded Goldmine EX, my highest grade for opened items!! It appears UNPLAYED. Fully shiny and no writing! NOTE: the only flaws are some water staining on the front left side and a small tear on the front upper right side! Photos 1-8 are the item for sale, record, Cover sleeve, and original inner sleeve with cool Albums and 8-tracks by Elvis!!! I started collecting worldwide Rock and Roll albums and 45s after High School, 1970 or so. II am starting to sell them off. I doubt RCA will ever reissue this vinyl LP again, so getting a copy under $50 is a Now or Never proposition, unless you search for these on eBay, etc!!! My favorite from this batch is NEVER ENDING. I had it as a flip side of an Elvis Hits Single in the 70s. This LP is an Amazing conglomeration of interesting songs but no real Hits!! This LP is well kept and in plastic sleeve since its purchase by me in 1972. I quickly learned to handle them as little as possible. Read more on “45cat”, my favorite worldwide discography site.
