Original Elvis Presley 45 record  RCA 47-6381 GOOD ROCKIN' TONIGHT / I DON'T CARE IF THE SUN DON'T SHINE. Nipper dog on top with SILVER LINES ON LABEL, issued 1956 - 57 USA pressing.  Rare item. Condition is very nice VG++. No problems. Labels are clean, vinyl is glossy black. There is some glare and reflections in the above photos that look like marks on the vinyl that are not really there. It was difficult to photograph. This label variation is much in demand by collectors and typically sells for more than my starting bid. If you need this one for your collection, I am confident you will be very satisfied.

 These early RCA releases are hard to find in clean condition, especially this variation. One of the best early Rock 'n Roll records of all time. (Remember, the term "Rock 'n Roll" probably had not yet been used in 1955 with regard to music when this single was first released on SUN records.)  The original trio was charting new territory here and the song pairing on this example set the standard for all others who followed. The vocal style, guitar tone and overall ambience of the recording makes this one shine like a perfect gem.
