ELVIS AARON PRESLEY LP 25TH ANNIVERSARY 8 LP BOX SET RCA#CPL8-3699. Condition is New, unopened and shrinkwrap has not been broken. This set has a low number of 00317 which leads me to assume only 10,000  (tried and failed to verify this) were pressed in this Limited Edition release in 1980, 3 years after his death. Shipped FREE in bullet proof professional packing with USPS Media Mail. RCA VICTOR's 1980 box set of ELVIS ARON PRESLEY is a great chronicle of the years 1955 till his passing in 1977. Simile autograph on each record.
A sturdy case houses eight LPs plus an attractive 20 page souvenir booklet. Thorough and informative text is included with wonderful color and B&W photos, some LP size.
Each record is in a heavy stock sleeve w/full size color photo on one side and songlist on the other.

RANDOM NOTES
That '61 Honolulu concert captures the excitement of Elvis mania with its screeching teen girl audience, but overall the audio is subpar, a bit tinny and distorted. The full range Venus Room show however is worth the price of admission.

Movie Years disc is previously unissued alternate takes.
Included is studio chatter, cueing, false takes. A totally fun set.

TV Years samples his Dec. '68 comeback, also "Aloha from Hawaii" (1/73),
and a live June '77 performance. The latter tracks are bittersweet listening.

Many of Presley's Vegas gigs were recorded but little was released during his life.
The Las Vegas set offers previously archived material.

The final Concert Years is a 1975 show's first issue on vinyl.
