Description
Up for auction is a NEAR MINT vinyl copy of ELVIS COSTELLO'S 1993 collaboration with the Brodsky Quartet 'The Juliet Letters' on Warner Bros. Records Inc. (9362-45180-1). This long deleted German first & only pressing is in outstanding NEAR MINT condition!
The RECORD appears to be hardly played. Both sides are shiny & still mirror-like. Under a strong lamp there's only slightest signs of the RECORD being taken out of the inner sleeve. Playback of both sides of the album is perfect! I will grade both sides of the RECORD as NEAR MINT!
Both matt-finished record LABELS are in NEAR MINT condition, there are NO spidermarks around the spindle-holes!
The matt-finished RECORD COVER is still in it's original shrink (though opened). The COVER shows NO unwanted writing, NO creasing, NO tears, NO shelf-wear, etc. All four corners are in perfect condition. There's a hint of edge-wear to the opening side – and I really mean a hint, absolutely nothing serious – I'm very picky here! I will conservatively grade the RECORD COVER as being EXCELLENT+.
The printed lyric INNER SLEEVE is also in EXCELLENT+ condition.
I stick to the 'RECORD COLLECTOR' grading system (please see below). Satisfaction guaranteed!

The album will be mailed to the lucky winner in a stiff record box with extra cardboard stiffeners for best possible protection! MINT: The Record Itself Is In Brand New Condition With No Surface Marks Or Deterioration In Sound Quality. The Cover And Any Extra Items Such As The Lyric Sheet, Booklet Or Poster Are In Perfect Condition. Records Advertised, As Sealed Or Unplayed Should Be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The Record Shows Some Signs Of Having Been Played, But There Is Very Little Lessening In Sound Quality. The Cover And Packaging Might Have Slight Wear And / Or Creasing.
VERY GOOD: The Record Has Obviously Been Played Many Times, But Displays No Major Deterioration In Sound Quality, Despite Noticeable Surface Marks And The Occasional Light Scratch. Normal Wear And Tear On The Cover Or Extra Items, Without Any Major Defects, Is Acceptable.
