Original, exceedingly RARE UK PROMO pressing of Elvis Costello & The Attractions` first single "Pump It Up" b/w "Big Tears", on Radar Records (April 1978).
The song title is referred to as "Pump It" on the front label. The rear side has plain white labelling.

"Allmusic.com critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine described Pump It Up as being "underscored with sexual menace". Costello frequently uses double entendres in his songs, and Pump It Up is a good example of this, with the phrase "pump it up" being used to refer both to turning up the volume of the music and to masturbation. The story in the song is about the narrator's sexual frustration at the hands of a femme fatale who is described in the lyrics as being "a bad girl" and "like a narcotic". Pump It Up was written in reaction to the excesses of the Stiffs Live Tour."  - From the Wikipedia entry.

All singles are from old store stock and have been in (dry, safe) storage since the store owner originally acquired them from Rough Trade UK distribution at the time of original release, i.e. in 1978 and 1979! 
This might well be the last time you see these items in MINT UNPLAYED condition - so please bid wisely and with confidence!
