Elvis - Original Sun Single no. 215 - Milkcow Blues Boogie / You're A Heartbreaker.
Yes it's the real deal.
OK, first the good stuff - This is the rarest of the Sun singles !,There's no writing or sticker marks on the labels, both sides play right through, it has the 3 pushmarks and the matrix numbers are right with the 72 about 1/4" from the end of the number.
Now the not so good stuff, it's fairly well worn and the vinyl is quite dull, the characteristic background hiss is very heavy, but if you turn the volume up you can still hear Elvis rocking away. The A side label is still OK the B side label is pretty well worn (see pics, 'cos I'm not trying to hide anything here).
I would say that the A side is just about good enough to display and, after all, you're not going to buy this for it's sound quality. You are going to buy this because it is Rock 'n' Roll history, it's incredibly rare and if you are after a set of Sun singles this is the one you are going to struggle to get in any sort of condition.
