ELVIS PRESLEY - Elvis Sails (RCA Victor Records #4325). Very rare EP, this is the only copy that's ever passed through my hands... I don't even have a copy in my collection. Issued in 1958 to capitalize on Elvis' leaving to join the Army. The back is a 1959 calendar, and this was made with a hole at the top so it could be hung on the wall. Because these sometimes WERE hung on the wall, and it was very tempting to write on the calendar (to circle your birthday... or Elvis'... or whatever) it's hard to find this without writing, extra pin holes, tape, etc. This one looks SUPERB. Seams are perfect with no splits or wear. Corners aren't stubbed. It's Near Mint. Labels are near Mint. Record is a STRONG VG++. As Fifties EP records go, it might give a more accurate understanding to call it NM-. Has full original gloss, nothing but the most minor of surface scuffs, it's super clean!
