Selling my Elvis Presley "ELVIS PRESLEY" debut, 1st, original 1956 LP, on RCA LPM-1254.
I am not a record collector and do not know much about records at all. I found this record and an estate sale and I knew it was his debut record with RCA and that it was rare. After doing some research on the early pressing numbers on this record, I knew it was one of the early additions and had some value.
It is a very early Rockaway pressing. Matrix numbers below.

Condition Notes:
Jacket is in fairly good Condition given its age. The upper seem is split about halfway across (which I included in the last picture). There is a little mark right below the green RCA logo, possibly were the original price tag was. The bottom left has a small, what looks to me like coffee stain, it’s very small and it can be seen in one of the pictures. And the rest is just normal aging wear for a record that probably was not stored locked away.
The Vinyl has been played (I mean who could resist playing such an amazing record back and 56!) There are Small scratches on both sides, but they look extremely light and not deep at all. I would just describe the record as played and used. It looks like most records I have seen that have been played. The center RCA logo on the vinyl Has some scratches were the needle would go, but there is no pealing or tearing at all like you sometimes see on old records. It has the rare Silver text. Unfortunately I do not own a record player, so I have not been able to play it.
I tried to take as many pictures as possible noting any condition flaws, but please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or to see any additional pictures. I was only able to include 12 per listing.
I will pack very carefully. I will wrap the record in bubble wrap and surround it with shipping peanuts in a box. Please ask any questions or request more pictures before purchasing the record will be sold as is
