ELVIS PRESLEY-Here we have 2 rare record albums. His very first record album from 1956. LPM-1254. MONO. 1st pressing with light pink letters and the rare P.D. credit on record label** see below.
The cover has shelf wear, taped seams, writing on back. The record is a 1st pressing with the words "NEW ORTHOPHONIC HIGH FIDELITY" in the center, not on the side like reissues. There are scratches. Original inner sleeve.
The 2nd record is LSP-1254 (e) STEREO. The cover is MINT. still in original shrink wrap. The record has scratches, more on side A.
**The first release of this record credited the song writing to the song "Just Because" to P.D. - Public Domain. You can only imagine how surprised the authors were to find they weren't able to get on the gravy train.
The song writing credits were quickly changed on subsequent pressings. The record guides don't mention this fact. But serious record collectors look for this issue.
