SIGHT-GRADED ONLY
NM = NEAR MINT: Record looks great! No visible scratches, scuffing or cracks. Vinyl is very shiny and black. Label is pristine. Possibly never played.
VG+ = VERY GOOD PLUS or FINE: Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches. Slight warps are allowed. The label may have some minor ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play.
VG = VERY GOOD: Record looks very good. A few light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) and/or minor surface scuffing. Label may show minor wear.
G = GOOD or VERY GOOD MINUS: Record looks very good. Visible groove wear, light scratches and/or minor surface scuffing. Label shows some wear (writing, address sticker, edges slightly peeled).
Sleeve Condition (per Gold Mine): VG+, faded, light age discoloration

NM = NEAR MINT: No creases, folds, seam splits, cut-outs, writing or other imperfections. The paper color on both sides must be vibrant with no foxing.
VG+ = VERY GOOD PLUS or FINE: Slight signs of wear: bumped corner, minor writing or original price. A small seam split of less than 1". Light scuffing, retains gloss.
VG = VERY GOOD: Sleeve will show moderate wear. Though it must be free of serious defects, it can show the effects of heavy writing, discoloration, etc., of not being kept properly. Seam split of no more than 3 inches. A taped seam, small cutouts, and imperfections are common.
G = GOOD or VERY GOOD MINUS: Sleeve will have seam splits. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects are obvious.
