 ALSO THE PICTURES ARE FROM A SCANNER AND ARE PROBABLY SOME OF THE MOST DETAILED 78 RPM RECORDS YOU WILL SEE ON EBAY.  EVERY DETAIL IS EXPOSED AND SO YOU ARE ASSURED OF WHAT YOU ARE GETTING!  SOMETIMES YOU MAY SEE FIGERPRINTS THAT APPEAR TO BE ON THE RECORD BUT ACTUALLY MAY BE ON SCANNER GLASS (LOOK AT SEVERAL DIFFERENT PICTURES AND SEE IF THE SAME THING IS ON DIFFERENT PICTURES THIS MAY BE ON THE SCANNERS GLASS AND NOT ON THE RECORD, I TRY TO CLEAN SCANNER GLASS OFTEN BUT SOMETIMES MISS THIS.  IF YOU LOOK AT THE FULL SCAN OF THE RECORDS SOMETIMES THE SMUDGES OVERLAP THE RECORD TO OUTSIDE OF THE RECORDS SCAN, THIS WILL NORMALLY BE ON THE GLASS AND NOT ON RECORD).  PLEASE ASK ME ANYTHING IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION (ALLOW 24 HOURS FOR A RESPONSE, DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST COUPLE HOURS AND EXPECT A RESPONSE EVEN THOUGH I DO TRY TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS AS SOON AS I AM AVAILABLE.  ESPECIALLY MONDAY THRU THURSDAY I WILL USUALLY NOT BE AVAILABLE FROM 4:30PM TO 7:00PM PACIFIC TIME).

Elvis Aaron Presley, born to Vernon and Gladys Presley in a two-room house in Tupelo, Mississippi on January 8, 1935.   

Elvis’ musical influences were the pop and country music, gospel music, and Rythm and Blues he absorbed.  In 1954, he began his singing career with Sun Records label in Memphis.  In late 1955, his recording contract was sold to RCA Victor.  With a sound and style that uniquely combined his diverse musical influences and blurred and challenged the social and racial barriers of the time, he ushered in a whole new era of American music and popular culture.

Globally, he has sold over one billion records. His American sales have earned him gold, platinum or multi-platinum awards, far more than any other artist. Among his many awards and accolades were 14 Grammy nominations (3 wins) from the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, which he received at age 36.

His talent, good looks, sensuality, charisma, and good humor endeared him to millions, as did the humility and human kindness he demonstrated throughout his life. Known the world over by his first name, he is regarded as one of the most important figures of 20th century popular culture. Elvis died at his Memphis home, Graceland, on August 16, 1977.

SHIPPING: Shipping will be by Priority Mail. Enter your zip code into the shipping calculator at the bottom of the page for the shipping charges. Shipping will be combined for a savings on multiple purchases (wait for invoice for correct amount when making multiple purchases).

INSURANCE: Insurance is at the expense of the buyer. Current Postal Insurance Rates on Priority Mail are as follows:
$1.70 for amounts up to $50, or...
$2.15 for amounts between $51 and $100.
$2.60 for amounts between $101. and $200.
$4.60 for amounts between $201. and $300.
$5.55 for amounts between $301. and $400.
$6.50 for amounts between $401. and $500.
Add $.95 for each additional $100.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: International shipping, via International Priority Air Mail only, at cost, with insurance required. Any item shipped without insurance is done so AT YOUR RISK alone. No international UPS, including Canada.

MEDIA MAIL Some bidders prefer Media Mail, as it is cheaper. I do not, for two reasons: (1) The handling is rougher and the delivery time is often longer.  When I ship Priority Mail, the Post Office provides the box (No. 7, 12x12x8"). If I ship Media Mail, I must buy a box at a cost of about $2.00. I must pass along this cost, so the first $2.00 of the savings on postage is lost.
