This is an ORIGINAL 1959 RCA VICTOR RECORDS U.S. MONO LP titled 'A Date With Elvis' containing ten historic tracks which originally appeared on 45s on the Sun and RCA Victor labels from 'The King' Elvis Presley.  It is RCA Victor Records U.S. catalog number LPM-2011, gatefold cover with original hype sticker, 1960 calendar and a small hole factory punched in the top of the front gatefold in order to facilitate the hanging up of the calendar cover, 'Long 33 Play' inscription at the bottoms of the labels,.  Record comes packaged inside the gatefold cover in an original vintage RCA Victor stock inner sleeve. 
This was one of two LPs containing previously released material issued by RCA while Elvis was serving in the U.S. Army during 1958 and 1959.

Condition of record is nicer than is usually seen with original 1959 copies of this LP - Condition of record is a high VG++ with all original gloss and just a very few very light surface marks which cannot be felt and will not affect play.  Condition of cover is VG with a number of minor flaws - There is a 3" split in the right-hand end of one edge of the front gatefold which I have carefully and neatly repaired with clear tape, back cover has an 'x' written in black marker and a small spot near one lower corner where the top layer of paper is worn away as can be seen in my accompanying back cover image, cover also has a couple of slight wrinkles, some contact wear, and some wear along the edges and on the corners.
