Description
A framed original mono copy of Elvis Presley’s 1963 soundtrack LP It Happened At The World’s Fair (RCA Victor LPM-2697) – personally hand signed by Elvis to his friend Kay Bailey outside the gates of Graceland that same year! The cover for this LP is very good plus due to some ring and edge wear, a small slit in the upper left corner, two pieces of masking tape in the lower left and right corners, a couple small pieces of yellow tape in the upper left and right corners of the back cover, some remnants of cellophane tape along the top and right side of the front, and some minor creasing. Elvis has signed “To Kay, Elvis Presley” in the center of the right side of the front cover. The LP is housed in its original stock Elvis’ Great LP Catalog innersleeve and is in excellent condition with a beautiful sheen both in the vinyl and the labels (although it would appear that Kay carved an X on both labels – presumably as an identifying mark, as if the autograph wouldn’t suffice!
We are also simultaneously listing other Elvis memorabilia from Kay Bailey's collection (candid photo negatives, a letter from Col Tom Parker's office, fan club items & lobby cards from "It Happened At The World's Fair" and another autographed record - a 45 sleeve with record).
