Description
Elvis Presley 78rpm shellac 10" released in 1957 on the 'His Master's Voice' label (I.P.1248). Red labels (see photos). A side is 'All Shook Up' ,B side is "That's When Your Heartaches Begin". Label states 'Pressed in Ireland For the Gramophone Co. Ltd'. My record player doesn't play 78's so I haven't listened to this but the condition seems very good - vinyl has the odd smudge and mark but nothing that should impair listening enjoyment. Photos show both sides of record. Comes in worn 'His Master's Voice' sleeve. Weight of packed item will be 1500 grams.
A Note on Packing:
78 rpm shellac records are brittle and very fragile. This record will be protected firstly with cardboard layers; then two vinyl records will be placed on each side and bubblewrap will be wrapped around the layers. These will then be placed in a cardboard box with compacted shredded paper forming a thick protective layer within the box. 'Fragile' stickers will be placed on the box. I've included a photograph above to illustrate the packing process and the care taken to ensure this important cultural and historical artefact arrives safely.
