The "Aloha From Hawaii via Satellite" live double album with the "Chicken Of The Sea" sticker is one of the most controversial collectibles in Elvis' discography. Originally sold by unscrupulous individuals as a legitimate Elvis rarity there has never been any evidence that the sticker is anything but bogus. Please read the following Wikipedia entry for this album:
"After extensive research and contacts with the Van Camp company, it was ascertained that the latter never released any promotional sticker intended to be affixed on the shrink-wrap of the April 1973 U.S. edition RCA Victor VPSX-6089 neither directly pasted on picture sleeves of same release. Such Chicken Of The Sea stickers were an historical fake (bogus) made among the Elvis' collecting circle in order to create the rarity and push up the prices for such memorabilia marketplace. The Van Camp Company San Diego office has also advised that nothing exists in their files as evidence to support the printing of such promotional stickers and nothing exists that they were intended as promotional merchandise for their employees."

We are offering for sale this 1973 Quadrodisc (Quadrophonic) pressing with catalog # VPSX-6089. The vinyl has some scuffs and light scratches on all four sides. We are giving it a visual grade of VG. We have not listened to it. Cleaned with a VPI.
The die-cut, gatefold cover is in very good condition with no seam splits, marks or tears. There is some minimal wear along the open end and around the corners. Includes both original printed inner sleeves which have a number of creases on both and a seam split on one.
