DESCRIPTION
You are bidding on a nice copy of a RARE original 1956 UK release by ELVIS PRESLEY on the purple/gold print HMV label (45-POP 272) "BLUE MOON" b/w "I DON'T CARE IF THE SUN DON'T SHINE" 7-inch 45 RPM single with 4-prong push-out centre. In repro period-correct HMV company sleeve.
This terrific single is in a very good (VG) condition. The vinyl is clean, crisp and bright, retaining its original sheen. There are several hairline surface-marks, but no deep or worrying scratches. The labels are nice and clean with no stickers, tears or writing. The gold lettering is fully legible with no signs of wear (NB: scans are a little indistinct, but the best that could be produced). The 4-prong push-out centre is fully intact and has no damage. There are a couple of light marks around the spindle area but no signs of spindle wear. , The record plays well throughout, but with some subtle surface noise side-B and a little his side-A. However, there are no skips or jumps.
