Plays well (good + to very good+) with some pops and clicks. Play-ability may improve with better equipment and better cleaning.
Offered is a very presentable copy of Elvis Presley's 45 RPM Sun Records single #217 “I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone” and “Baby Let's Play House”. The record was released by the Memphis label on April 10, 1955, as Elvis was ascending as a regional star, and it was his fourth of the five records he released before moving to RCA. The offered copy of the 45 is a “Memphis Pressing,” as evidenced by the “delta” or “push” marks on the label, three small indentations of the paper where the record stamper used at Plastic Products, Inc., (Sun's Memphis pressing plant vendor), left indentations on the record itself. When Elvis’ singles started selling big, Sam Phillips also had them pressed at other pressing plants in California and Pennsylvania--these examples do not have "delta" marks. Accompanied by a later "Sun Records" 45 sleeve. The record measures 7 inches in diameter. The label maintains bright yellow color. Good+ condition. The original paper sleeve is missing.
