The time has come for me to thin down my vast collection of Elvis Presley albums and singles as I need to downsize my holdings. I have decided to continue with the scarce Tan Label series, issued from 1975 to 1976, a very short time period. This is the reason why they are tougher to find; they were pressed in fewer quantities.

ELVIS PRESLEY – BACK IN MEMPHIS (LSP-4429) MEGA RARE, NEAR MINT “SIDE A / SIDE B” TAN LABEL COPY in SHRINK!

RECORD: NM with stunning, glossy surfaces! This record may have been played just once or twice and then shelved. The tan labels are NM and show only a couple extremely light spindle marks on the Side B label. This is the mega-rare and highly sought-after “Side A / Side B” tan label issue! The tan label copies with “Side 1 / Side 2” are actually quite common.

COVER: VG++ (EXC) with approximately 90% of the shrink wrap remaining. A small piece has torn away at the lower right corner on the front and there is a short tear on the back side, though no shrink wrap is missing from that area. The exposed area on the front shows some minor ring wear and there is some lower edge wear going in from the open end. A white “wrap-around” spine sticker, showing the updated catalog prefix number, “AFL1”, is seen beneath the shrink wrap. The original “Korvette’s” price code “G” sticker remains fully affixed on the front. The original “ELVIS” (54E) inner sleeve is included.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to ensure optimum protection.
