HAPPY NEW YEAR! We at kingelvis56 want to thank all of our customers for a fun and exciting 2018 here on ebay. After a Christmas Season hiatus due to agonizing long lines at the Post Office, it is time to resume listing many, many more Elvis (and other artists!) records on ebay. Let the fun rock and roll on!
ELVIS PRESLEY – “DOUBLE TROUBLE” (LSP-3787), A FIRST PRESSING WITH BONUS PHOTO FROM 1967!
RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with beautiful, glossy surfaces! There are just a small number of very light surface scuffs on this Rockaway pressing that should not have any effect on the audible performance. This Original Soundtrack Recording should play beautifully! It was released in June of 1967 and includes the singles, “Long Legged Girl (With The Short Dress On)”, along with two previously released singles that appear as Bonus Songs on this LP, “Never Ending” and “Blue River”. Unfortunately, this album was deleted from “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” in early 1969 and was not to be available again until September of 1977, just after Elvis' untimely death. The matrix numbers end with 3S/3S.
COVER: VG+ with no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes. However, there is some wear along the spine (please see all photos). The upper and lower edges show only minimal wear. Ring wear is present on both sides, although it is very light. A very clean and original cover!
INNER SLEEVE: The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40C) sleeve is included. Central splitting is noticed on all three edges.
BONUS PHOTO: VG+ with no pinholes, hard bends or creases. However, there is some surface scuffing as well as corner dings. There is no writing or check marks anywhere on the back side. Overall, a clean and attractive photo.
