ELVIS PRESLEY - “DOUBLE TROUBLE” (LSP-3787), A VERY RARE, 1968 ORANGE LABEL PRESSING!                  RECORD: VG with a good amount of original gloss remaining, despite the grade. There are many surface scuffs and scratches, none of which can be felt with the fingertip. This Indianapolis pressing was test-played in its entirety and it is a pleasure to state that there were absolutely no skips or repeats! Sure, there is some surface noise, but overall, a pleasurable listen. This is a very rare second pressing with "Deep Groove" Orange Labels, pressed in late 1968. The labels are clean and attractive with just some very light spindle marks on each side. As mentioned, these are very rare and seldom encountered. Jerry Osborne places a Near Mint value of $375 on this record in his "Presleyana VIII". This Original Soundtrack Recording was originally released in June of 1967 and includes the hit single, "Long Legged Girl (With The Short Dress On)". The Matrix numbers end with 1S/7S.    COVER: VG- with a nearly 7-inch lower seam split (please see all photos). The spine has a lengthy break, which has caused some chipping of the slick in the area. Ring wear is noticed, although on the lighter side. There is no tape, writing or staple holes present. Of course, being a later issue, the blurb for the "Bonus Photo" has been replaced by a second "Double Trouble" in the lower film frame on both sides of the cover.        INNER SLEEVE:  A period-correct "ELVIS' Great LP Catalog" (40D) sleeve from 1968.
