ELVIS PRESLEY ELVIS' CHRISTMAS ALBUM MONO ARMY BACK LP

   From 1958 comes this vintage vinyl pressing of the LP Elvis' Christmas Album (RCA Victor LPM-1951). This pressing replaced the previous year's model (issued with a deluxe gatefold sleeve and 10-page booklet heavily promoting Elvis' then-current film Jailhouse Rock), this time opting for a solemn-looking Elvis on the front and featuring some fresh photos of our boy beginning his service in the U.S. Army on the back. Once Elvis returned to civilian life, the back cover was replaced with a new one promoting his 1960 Gospel LP His Hand In Mine and the three EP's whose contents make up the Christmas album (Peace In The Valley, Elvis Sings Christmas Songs, and Christmas With Elvis).
   The cover is very good plus due to some minor ring and edge wear in addition to a small ink marking in the upper right-hand corner of its front. The LP itself is very good plus as well.
   To protect your investment, this LP - as with all vinyl purchased at The Great Escape Online - will be placed in a new plastic outer sleeve prior to packing and shipping.
