A Closer Look:  This is one of the rarest Elvis records in the world today, I have come across two in 50 years of collecting.  Earth News was a weekly subscription record back in the 70's and 80's and this was the release on August 29th, 1977 that was the first vinyl reaction to the death of Elvis.  The record is dedicated to Elvis and it talks of the King, his passing and features his music of course.  The numbers of these in collections are miniscule, this is about as rare as they get.  The price guides have this record at $400 to $500, but it seems much rarer to me than that.  This great collectable is in mint shape and has its original generic cover.
