ELVIS PRESLEY - ELVIS’ CHRISTMAS ALBUM (LOC-1035) ORIGINAL PRESSING from 1957
RECORD: VG+ with clean surfaces and very few light scuffs. However, the luster is somewhat subdued and there is evidence of the record having been played, perhaps once each Christmas season. RCA Victor’s “New Orthophonic High Fidelity” is resilient, overall. A few random, but minor, “ticks” in softer areas of the music is noticed. The labels on this Rockaway pressing are clean and attractive, showing several light spindle marks on both sides. The matrix numbers end with 3S/4S.
COVER: VG+ with some minor splitting on the spine, which is actually not often seen with these covers as the majority of them have a completely split spine. The binding is made of a material which becomes dry and brittle over time and has a tendency to crack. The gold lettering is nearly completely legible! There is wear on the “LO” of LOC at the lower portion of the spine. There are no seam splits on this cover! The upper and lower edges are solid with only a few tiny wear spots. There is virtually no ring wear on either the front or the back! A problem is finally seen on one of the pages of the bound-in photo album where the lower edge of the final page has been torn a bit and rumpled (please see all photos). There are no other tears or creases on any of the other pages; just minor dimpling from handling. All pages remain completely secured by the rust-free staples. There is no writing or check marks inside of the gatefold cover. Included, is the original “RCA Victor” inner sleeve from 1957, which is regularly found with this album.

All of the records in my listings are U.S. pressings unless otherwise stated. Payment is expected within 5 (Five) days from close of auction via PAY PAL ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE. I normally ship within 3 (Three) business days from close of auction, but please allow a little extra time in the event of a holiday.
All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.
Returns are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I stand behind everything sold here on eBay! I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction.
