ELVIS PRESLEY – ELVIS’ GOLDEN RECORDS, VOL. 3 (LPM-2765) FIRST PRESSING

RECORD: VG with pleasing, glossy surfaces for the grade. There are several non-feelable scuffs and scratches that may result in some audible “ticks” along the way. The labels on this Indianapolis pressing are simply beautiful with just a couple of spindle marks on the Side 2 label. This album was released in September of 1963 and includes most of Elvis’ chart-busters from 1960 through 1962, leaving out “Can’t Help Falling In Love” and “Return To Sender”, for the inclusion of those two tracks would have potentially hurt sales of the Original Soundtrack Recordings of “Blue Hawaii” and “Girls! Girls! Girls!”. The matrix numbers end with 10S/1S on this record.

COVER: VG+ with a lower central edge break of approximately 2 inches along with some light to moderate ring wear on both sides. There is no further seam splitting, tape, writing or staple holes present. However, some minor edge and corner wear is noticed. The original gray “RCA Victor” inner sleeve is included.
