ELVIS PRESLEY – ELVIS PRESLEY (LPM-1254) FIRST PRESSING from 1956
RECORD: VG++ with some light scuffs on the glossy vinyl that do not cause any loud “ticks” or “pops”. This Indianapolis pressing was fully play-tested and sounded great with full high fidelity! The labels are simply gorgeous with only a few light spindle marks. This is Elvis’ debut album and the one that ignited the Elvis fever across the nation in 1956; so much so that each and every song on the LP was also available on 45 RPM and 45 E.P.! The matrix numbers end with 19S/11S.
COVER: VG Light Pink “ELVIS” variety with an upper seam split of approximately 5-1/2 inches and a lower split of 2 inches in length. There is no tape, writing stickers or staple holes anywhere on this cover. Moderate ring wear and light surface scuffing is seen on both sides. The overall appearance of this cover remains clean and attractive. An “RCA Victor” inner sleeve from 1957 is included and most likely not original to this album. Original sleeves of this era were the glassine, or “onion skin” style sleeves.
GOOD LUCK!

I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction.
All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to ensure optimum protection.
2024 marks 47 years of experience for me in this wonderful hobby. I specialize in Elvis Presley because he is "The King".
