Description
Elvis' second full-length album. (I'm also selling a lovely copy of his first LP. Get both why don't ya!!)
The photos show all the details you'll need about the inner label. Camden NJ, etc. It's a 1956 copy, no doubt.
The rear advertisement is as-shown, says "More great pop and jazz albums to fit every mood!"
(The text of this ad varies greatly, but the "every mood" variation is common.)
Add'l details:
Dead wax stampers end in 1s and 1s, followed by "I."
The "I" indicates Indianapolis as the pressing location ... a common feature of first editions.
Elvis experts can argue over which version of this album REALLY came first, per the ads on back and the layout of the label.
But whichever one it was ... I bet it looked something like mine. And now it can be yours!

if forced to make a call, I'd go with VG- ... because of the splits
but the front cover itself is gorgeous, and frame-worthy

it had no inner sleeve so it is moderately scuffy (a couple pics provided to show said scuffs)
as the high-lit photos show, there are NO WARPS and NO DEEP SCRATCHES
AUDIO: VG+
there are several stretches -- and full songs -- that play without a single flick of b/g noise
there is "sucking hiss" during the first song, once per revolution ... hard to describe, I've never heard anything like it ... sounds like a sucking hiss! ... but it only affects 15 seconds of playback.
other than that, the audio on this is top notch ... very swell.
(audio grades are totally subjective, but I'm strict and I absolutely LOATHE background noise. that said, I was very pleased with this copy of Elvis ... VERY pleased.)
