THE RECORD TO LOOK AT
The record is clean both sides .
Side one has scratches these are mainly small in which an abundance can be seen mainly beetween quarter to and five to looking at the record as a clock , these run from the outer edge towards the label and mainly in first 4 tracks , other typical small odd scratches are apparent .
These scratches although visible held to light better seen are not trench scratches and cannot be blatantly felt on the run of a finger .Side two has no grouping of scratches as side one does but does have some minor scratches which are just typical of user and age .
There is a very fine hairliner running over 4 tracks towards label from outer , like I say its very fine , I,m being picky , but its there !
THE RECORD TO LISTEN TO
You will hear clicks pops crackles , these are apparent mainly side one , whilst these are apparent both sides and my ear is to the ground for this listing , these are not anyway annoying to suggest you would not play the record . In actually fact whilst being honest for the listing I can also fairly state the record plays with apsolutely superb striking clarity both, sides being crystal clear , Elvis,s voice is still jumping out at you . No distortion , no skips , stops jumps aparent . The record has retained itself very well indeed despite the typical aging ailments mentioned above .
Still a great pleasure to listen to Elvis fan or not .

THE SLEEVE
The sleeve is still intact and has a split to top corner right hand side edge some two and half inch and bottom corner half inch , I,m not repairing with clear tape ect will leave be as its never been a problem for me !! Other aging ailments are typical of its age being , scuffs to corners , light creases , light thumbed opening mouth entrance , minor cover surface scuffs ie front left hand side edge left of the V in Elvis . The cover at back shows light grubiness mainly along its disc impression . The photo shots and type set are all legible to rear . Printed in U.S.A is shown to bottom corner and LPM 1254 is evident top right corner . The spine side is legible LPM -1254 ELVIS PRESLEY . I concider whilst it does have these typical sleeve ailments it is still in good acceptable presentable condition .
THE LABELS ,
Side one , all intact , no glass rings , writing or bad spoils . Some little spindle trace better seen in light , odd small scratch and a small shadow like cloud ring seen held to light this at right hand side of play at bottom. I,m being picky .
Side two , all intact , no glass rings writing or bad spoils . Some little spindle trace evident . You will find on this label when held to light some small blemishes arround and about probably down to age , they may remove but I leave be they have never bothered me !! You can only just see them not held to light !!
INNER BAG
Its a paper bag with a poly window I think they may call it ! Has type set on it one side , Handling / Playing advise . Has creases small splits light grubiness with a couple or so grease like spoils to one side .
RECORD COLLECTORS GUIDE
I never over rate my records , I am placing this record with some great reluctance in the GOOD CAT . That being because the sound quality has NOT noticeably deteriorated , perhaps with some distortion as said in this cat .
I personally would consider the record to lay somewhere beetween the good and very good cat , as the very good cat states occasional light scratch !!
