ELVIS PRESLEY – FOR LP FANS ONLY (LPM-1990) FIRST PRESSING IN HIGH GRADE with SHRINK WRAP!

 

RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with stunning, glossy surfaces! There are only a few extremely light scuffs seen under a bright light which have no effect on the audible performance. This Rockaway pressing has been tested and it retains full high fidelity! The labels are gorgeous with just a couple of light spindle marks noticed. This album was released in March of 1959 and includes Elvis’ earlier songs previously released exclusively on 45 RPM or 45 E.P. The matrix numbers end with 7S/3S.

COVER: VG++ (EXC) and would be a beautiful Near Mint example if not for an open-end edge blemish. All four corners remain sharp! Full original shrink wrap has kept this cover free of any ring wear and/or surface scuffing. Keeping in mind that tight shrink wrap was not regular practice until late 1963, This album would have sold in stores around that time frame. Prior to late 1963, albums were sold in loose “baggies” that were heat-sealed at the department stores and then put out for sale. The original gray “RCA Victor” inner sleeve is included.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to ensure optimum protection.
