ELVIS PRESLEY – FRANKIE AND JOHNNY (LPM-3553) FIRST PRESSING with BONUS PHOTO!
RECORD: VG+ with clean, glossy surfaces. There are many very light scuffs seen on both sides, none of which should have any effect on the audible performance but expect a few random “ticks” in quieter areas of the music. The labels on this Rockaway pressing are without any writing or stickers but do show a few light spindle marks. This Original Soundtrack Recording was released in April of 1966 and includes the hit single, “Frankie and Johnny / Please Don’t Stop Loving Me”.
COVER: VG++ (EXC) with some very light ring wear on both sides as well as a small amount of wear at the corner tips. The upper right corner tip shows the beginning of a split but is very minor at this point. There are no actual seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes present. A very clean, attractive cover! The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40B) inner sleeve is included.
BONUS PHOTO: NM- with sharp corners. There are no creases or serious bends; just a trace of minor handling is seen under a bright light. Obviously not original to this particular album, there are a pair of tiny pinholes to the upper left corner, indicative of having had a tiny staple removed from the original cover. A beautiful Bonus Photo in top condition!
