Synopsis
Released by RCA Records in the UK in May 1977 (just three months before Elvis’s passing), this limited-edition box set is a highly collectable piece of Presley's discography.

The Concept: RCA released sixteen 7-inch singles on their distinctive orange label over a three-week promotional period. Fans who collected all sixteen singles received a flattened, die-cut black-and-gold cardboard carrying box with a matching tracklist insert to assemble and house the collection.

The Content: Each of the 16 vinyl singles is housed in its own individual, unique picture sleeve. Unlike standard singles that feature a single A-side and B-side, this collection pairs up massive hits, effectively delivering 32 iconic tracks (such as All Shook Up / Heartbreak Hotel and Jailhouse Rock / Treat Me Nice).

Rarity Factor: Because the box was distributed flat and required assembly, many fans either never collected the box, threw it away, or the fragile cardboard handles wore out over time. Consequently, complete sets with the original box intact are scarce, as many collections were broken up and sold as individual singles.
