Hi...first of all, a bit about me and my records. Many years ago I was a vinyl dealer and amassed a sizeable personal collection by keeping nice copies of the best tunes and labels as I came across them. Like others, I dis-like the word 'mint' but most of my collection is pretty much exactly that. A large proportion of my own collection comes from just a few huge and immaculate collections I was lucky enough to come across and purchase. Since then I've moved home several times and my records have rarely seen the light of day until recently when I got 'the urge'...out came the decks and I decided to start going through it all to sort it out and give it some t.l.c. I've spent at least a month playing and cleaning thousands of records and have thoroughly enjoyed myself lol! And for the first time in decades I've also bought a few records here and there to up-grade and fill gaps where needed.

As you can see I'm now a leathersmith and if my feedback means anything to you it should indicate how high my standards are....the same applies to my records. In the last few months I've not only requested partial refunds from several sellers on ebay but have also returned more than one for full re-imbursement and felt obliged to leave negative feedbacks for shockingly bad service and goods. In fact you'll see I've only received one negative which is in fact revenge negative sneakily arranged by two ebay vinyl dealers...they have since been investigated but due to maddening and ridiculous ebay rules the feedback won't be removed due to quite unbelievable policy. The incident had me on the point of closing my account and the only thing that stopped me was that I have two beautiful sons to feed and home. Anyway...deep breath, when I say a record is EX/EX+ then it is going to be pretty much the same as the day it was made....virtually blemishless, certainly no scratches of any severity whatsoever and it won't turn up at your door dull with wear and/or covered in dirt. I also won't be listing individual records that grade good/vg (unless it's a very rare tune) because there's too much room for un-happiness in my opinion and I don't like sellers who hide behind that fact....half the time you never know what you're going to receive, anything from a life-less grey disc to one with hard horrible scratches. I like my records to be clean, glossy and black and whilst I'm aware that many of the tunes I'll be listing are readily available for less money than mine, if you're someone who's had the same experiences as I have recently then rest assured that it's very unlikely you'll be dis-appointed in what you receive from me.

I grade strictly to the UK Rare Record Guide's grading system and added to that will also mention any marks of note rather than 'band them in'....I clean all and also play both sides of 99% of my discs on my Technics 1200's and being a collector far longer than I was a dealer has made me extremely concientious and fussy about the way a record is. Of course, as with most things, there's always going to be an element of 'interpretation'....if there's a problem, please just contact me to discuss....there's really no need to be 'aggressive' in the way any problem is handled. I can assure you I'm not like many 'vinyl dealers' here on ebay and will never 'milk a record' for all it's worth. I do believe my prices reflect the quality of what I sell, be it my leatherwork or my records, so do not feel I deserve negative feedbacks or cases opened against me. A nice example of this rare record, it was my personal one which I'm now selling due to upgrading ....the a-side has just a few light surface lines which of course cannot be felt or heard....the b-side has only one and very light paper scuffing.....plays great, black and shines! pen on b-side label, NOC...in a new repro sleeve....a very solid disc and a wikid tune!

Company sleeves may have tears, writing, tape etc...I always try to show anything necessary in the pictures. If no company sleeve is available it will be iin a new white paper sleeve. All records come in a decent/new plastic sleeve and mailer with card-board stiffener(s).

I would recommend a customer abroad pays for signed for delivery, especially on more valuable items.. I know it's an extra expense but for a peaceful and stress free life for everyone concerned I would advise it. If you choose not to please understand that I will not be responsible for the masses of postal systems around the world. I will obtain a proof of posting at very minimum anyway, but the choice is yours.....the option is available for you when paying for the item.
