ELVIS PRESLEY – HAVING FUN WITH ELVIS ON STAGE (BOXCAR) - SCARCE 1974 ISSUE
RECORD: G+ with pleasing, glossy surfaces for the grade. However, there are a few scratches that can be felt with the fingertip. This Hollywood pressing has not been tested, but expect some audible “ticks” upon play. Please see all photos which show the condition of this record as well as the scratches mentioned. The first two photos are of the scratches on Side 1 and the third photo (close-up) is of the scratches on Side 2. The scratches are in the same general area on each side as though the record had fallen between something, causing the scratches in that area. The remainder of the record appears quite nice, although there are just some very light scuffs in areas. The white “Boxcar” labels are simply gorgeous, with just a couple very light spindle marks seen on the Side 2 label. This album was issued in August of 1974 and was available exclusively at Elvis' concerts until October of 1974 when it became a general RCA Victor release on their Orange Label. This is “A Talking Album Only”.
COVER: VG+ and would grade VG++ (EXC) if not for some light staining as well as what appears to be a strip of white-out that could be masking a person's name on the back side, along the spine area. Some light surface scuffing as well as ring wear is noticed on both sides but there are no seam splits, tape or staple holes anywhere on the cover. The “Boxcar” logo is seen to the upper left corner. Jerry Osborne places a NM value of $150 on this album. Obviously, this album is far from Near Mint. The original “ELVIS' Camden Catalog / “ELVIS' Reel Tapes” (57B) Inner Sleeve is included.
