ELVIS PRESLEY – HURT / FOR THE HEART (PB-10601) RARE SECOND PRESSING on the RCA BLACK, “DOG NEAR TOP” LABEL!

 

This RARE Black Label, “Dog Near Top” second pressing grades VG+ with some dulling of the luster along with many extremely light paper sleeve scuffs which do not impede the listening enjoyment. This record has been fully tested and plays great on both sides! Originally released in large quantity in March of 1976 on the RCA Victor tan label, this was the very first Elvis Presley record to be issued on the “New Black” label with the “Dog Near Top” in the summer of 1976. These rarely appear on eBay and are highly sought after by collectors due to their scarcity. In 1978, “For The Heart”, which was the actual “A-side” of this single, was reissued as the “B-side” to “Moody Blue” as a “Gold Standard Series” on RCA Records.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to ensure optimum protection.
