Description
Janis Martin & Elvis Presley 'Janis & Elvis' South African 10" RCA LP. This is an even rarer copy as it is a 'sample' probably given to a company sales rep or a newspaper for review (see the label photos.) Condition (Goldmine grading code) record VG: some surface noise noticeable between tracks and in a few quiet spots like the intro to Milkcow Blues Boogie but not when the music is at full volume - side 2 is generally a little quieter BUT about 30 seconds into Baby Let's Play House', there is one groove skip (under an 8x magnifier, it looks like someone pressed down on the tone arm) sleeve VG: no split seams (and the original paper inner sleeve is also intact), on the front there are two light creases at the upper and lower left side, plus there is a number '574' and letter 's' written with a ball point pen that I assume must have something to do with this being a sample copy; on the back there is another 's' written in ball point and some light stains to the left of the side 1 track listing. SHIPPING: we've had a post office strike here in South Africa for the past 3 months so I've packed the record and a friend is flying back with it to London from where he can post it starting on November 28th. The postage cost will be determined as per from London.
