ELVIS PRESLEY –   KING OF THE WOLE WIDE WORLD / HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS (SP-45-118) A RARE PROMOTIONAL COPY FROM 1962!

 

This Rockaway pressing grades VG++ (EXC) with clean, glossy surfaces! There are just a small number of light scuffs, none of which can be felt with the fingertip. This Promotional Copy states “NOT FOR SALE” on both labels. These singles were pressed in limited numbers for DJ use only in August of 1962 to promote Elvis’ latest film, “Kid Galahad”. The labels are simply beautiful, though the “Home Is Where the Heart Is” label shows very minor evidence of once having a sticker applied over the Dog & Gramophone and gently removed some time later. This rare promotional single is a “must have” for the Elvis collector!
