Description

-Artist / Group: Elvis Presley With The Jordanaires

-Elvis Presley released two 78 rpm singles which were released only in Canada. The first was Blue Suede Shoes b/w I'm Counting On You (RCA Victor 20-6492 in 1956) and Mean Woman Blues b/w Have I Told You Lately That I Love You (RCA Victor 20-7066 in 1957).

-Neither of these two singles are known to exist on 45 rpm at this time, but if one should turn up, the value would be impressive.

-Titles: Mean Woman Blues / Have I Told You Lately That I Love You

-Neither Mean Woman Blues or Have I Told You Lately That I Love You was ever released in the U.S. as either a 78 rpm single or as a 45 rpm single which also includes RCA Victor's Gold Standard series.

-Mean Woman Blues was issued in the U.S. in 1957 as a 7" but only on RCA Victor EPA-2-1515 which also included Lonesome Cowboy / Hot Dog and Got A Lot Of Livin' To Do, the EP was titled Loving You Volume two.

-Have I Told You Lately That I Love You was issued in the U.S. in 1957 as a 7" but only on RCA Victor EPA-4041 which also included I Need You So / Blueberry Hill and Is It So Strange, the EP was titled Just For You.

-Only in Canada was Mean Woman Blues b/w Have I Told You Lately That I Love You issued as a 78 RPM single.

-Label: RCA Victor 20-7066  

-This RCA Victor catalog number is exclusive to the Canadian pressing of Mean Woman Blues and was never used for any American RCA Victor pressing by either Elvis Presley or any other artist.
