Description
This is an auction for the ultra rare export single Elvis Presley- Mystery Train / I Forgot To Remember To Forget.
Released on the HMV label in 1957 and has catalogue number 7MC42- The Purple label has Gold print and a serrated edge.
Condition: Both labels are clean other than spider spindle marks only seen under close examination.
Vinyl - I have played both sides of this record and i'm pleased to say that despite lots of light surface marks it plays ok. There is some background noise on both sides in the form of crackling. On side 1 it starts with some light crackling which fades out, at no time is the crackling louder than the record itself and as stated it does fade and play very well by the middle of the record.
Side 2 has a little more crackling than side one which comes in and out through out the record on this side, again you can hear all the record clearly above the surface noise. At no time does this record stick-jump-or get stuck on either side and plays continously from start to finish on both sides.
This record has been graded at Good and comes with an original HMV company sleeve. Please see the pictures below and any questions please email.
We are aiming to become one of the UKs premier suppliers of vinyl both very rare single items such as this and whole collections- so please bid with confidence, reputation is everything!
