NEXT WE GO TO 45s OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1955 RCA VICTOR RECORDS U.S. 45 IN ITS ORIGINAL RCA VICTOR RECORDS COMPANY SLEEVE containing the historic Elvis Presley tunes titled 'Mystery Train'/'I Forgot To Remember To Forget'. It is RCA Victor Records catalog number 47-6357, 1955 early pressing with black RCA Victor labels with silver print and the 'Nipper' dog at the tops of the labels. The first thing that RCA Victor Records did after purchasing Elvis Presley's contract from Sam Phillips of Sun Records in 1955 was to reissue all five of Elvis's Sun Records singles on RCA - 'Mystery Train' was the first of the five Sun titles reissued by RCA, so this single is Elvis's very first RCA Victor release. Visual condition of record is a nice high VG+ with a very few very small and light surface marks, none of which can be felt or will affect play. Labels have a little contact wear and a little wear along the edges of the center hole, no other real problems. Condition of RCA Victor stock company sleeve is VG+ with a few slight wrinkles. This historic 45 would be a choice addition to any Elvis Presley, rockabilly, or roots rock-n-roll 45 record collection!
