Description

Up for bid is an original Elvis Presley 45 RPM record from Sun Studios. Recording #209. Blue Moon of Kentucky on one side and on the flip side is That's All Right. Record plays well-played many times growing up! Does show minor wear but it is a classic.  In the nineteen fifties, my father and his two brothers were in the business together.  My father handled the farm.  His brothers were in the juke box and pinball business.  They placed and maintained the machines in various outlets.  It was 1954, I was a junior in high school and was on vacation with my uncle's family.  We were in Daytona Beach when my uncle heard on the radio the first recording of Elvis, just released that day.  He said, "Girls, pack your bags, we must get back to Memphis and go to Poplar Tunes, I have to buy that record and get it on our jukeboxes immediately".  We did just that, and of course he bought copies for my cousin and for me.  I've kept this record all these years.   Free shipping in the USA.
